Mom really loved Pa, our family, horses, John Wayne and living like they did in the old days. She had a passion for being kind to others, whether animal or person. She was a registered nurse for many years and helped countless people. She also cared for countless animals. Mom was the poster lady for the faultless caregiver. She was unique too. One example was during the birth of my oldest son Gavin. He was delivered at home by my Mom and me. It was a very special experience for us all and was the kind of thing my Mom was known for. Unconventional, smart, multifaceted. She could read good, shoot straight and keep us men in line. We will miss you so much Mom and are thankful for you. I could not have asked for a better mother.
